MIXING & Usage Guidelines

Draw 1.0 mL of Bacteriostatic Water USP from the vial.

Carefully inject the Bacteriostatic Water into the PT-141 vial, aiming the stream along the side of the vial and avoiding direct contact with the lyophilized powder.

Gently swirl the vial until the powder is fully dissolved and the solution becomes clear. Do not shake the vial vigorously.

Once mixed, the concentration will be 10mg per mL (10mg per 1mL vial), equating to 1mg per 10 units on a standard insulin syringe. Remember, 100 units on the syringe equals 1mL, corresponding to the full 10mg dose.

The prepared solution can be administered subcutaneously (SubQ) in the lower abdominal fat area.

Once reconstituted with Bacteriostatic Water, store the vial in the refrigerator. Use within 60 days to ensure potency and effectiveness.

WHEN TO TAKE it

PT-141 should be administered 4–6 hours before sexual activity for best results, though it can be taken anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours prior. Unlike vascular-acting options, PT-141 works directly on the nervous system via melanocortin receptors — the peak effect typically occurs around the 6-hour mark and can remain active for up to 24–48 hours.

Temporary nausea is the most common side effect, typically occurring 30–60 minutes after injection. Taking an over-the-counter anti-nausea medication or ginger supplement 30 minutes before your injection and staying well-hydrated helps the body process the peptide more smoothly.

PT-141 can temporarily increase blood pressure — avoid heavy stimulants on dosing days, and if you have a history of high blood pressure, start at the lowest dose to monitor your individual response. Do not use more than 2–3 times per week to prevent receptor desensitization.

Low Dose (0.5mg — 5 units): Ideal for first-time users or those sensitive to medications — assess response before increasing
