Draw 1.5ml of Bacteriostatic Water USP from the vial.

Carefully inject the Bacteriostatic Water into the RTA15 vial. Aim the stream along the side of the vial, avoiding direct contact with the lyophilized powder.

Gently swirl the vial to dissolve the powder completely. Ensure the solution becomes clear. Do not shake the vial vigorously.

Once mixed, the concentration will be 15mg RTA15 per vial, equating to 1mg (1000mcg) per 10 units on an insulin syringe. Remember, 100 units on the syringe equals 1ml, corresponding to 10mg of RTA15.

The prepared solution can be administered subcutaneously (Sub Q). Injections can be either site-specific or administered in the lower abdominal fat area.

Once reconstituted with Bacteriostatic Water, the RTA15 solution should be stored in a refrigerator. Use the mixed solution within 60 days to ensure potency and effectiveness.

RTA15 is typically administered once weekly, with timing chosen for convenience and consistency. Because of its long half-life and sustained action, there’s no need for daily dosing. Many users select a set day each week to maintain steady therapeutic levels and simplify adherence.

Easy on the Gut
I tried Wegovy last year and had some pretty serious gut issues as a side effect. I was told to "tough it out," and eventually they would go away, but they did not. Now, on Reta, I am not experiencing those side effects, and it's totally reduced my appetite. I feel great, and it is easy to administer. I did get some guidance from Emily in Customer Support on how much to take and when (thanks Emily), so if you are unsure, contact them for more help. All in all, I am super happy!
